Tratamiento Fotocatalítico de Contaminantes en Aire

The aim of FOTOAir Unit is the development of knowledge, processes and technologies capable of eliminate pollutants of air in a correct environmental and an efficient way. Using as irradiation sources solar or artificial low cost light. The knowledge is applied in different areas: 

1. Synthesis of new photocatalysts.
2. Design of new photoreactors based on UV-A lamps for indoor air decontamination.
3. Characterization and photocatalytic treatment of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) and Inorganic (H2S, NOx) in outdoor air.
4. Characterization and photocatalytic treatment of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs), bacteria and fungi in indoor air.
