The awards aim to distinguish the best research work related to Veterinary Sciences
The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the University of Zaragoza created this award in 1970 in compliance with the will Sr. Enrique Coris Gruart, Veterinarian of Cassá de la Selva (Gerona), established in his will.
A total of two prizes of 3,500 euros will be awarded for two research works framed in each of the following modalities:
- Veterinary Medicine, Surgery and Animal Health, as well as Basic Sciences related to them.
- Animal Husbandry, Animal Production and Science and Technology of Foods of animal origin, as well as Basic Sciences related to them.
All Spanish scientists who present their work before 14:00 hours on June 15, 2018, will be eligible for the prizes.
The awards ceremony that will coincide with the celebration of the Patron of the Veterinary School of Zaragoza, in May 2019.
